Craft, Craft, Craft,

I'm trying to get back into a routine of blogging, so here it goes, what interests me at the moment?  Beeswax, lots and lots of beeswax, collage and painting, it's such a beautiful medium and smells absolutely divine!!!!  I've been collaging my little heart out, and when I get my camera back (I left it at home this morning) I'll post some photos.

Mixed media is pulling at my heartstrings big time!!  Everything is turning into a piece of art, yesterday I made a denim, silver and copper cuff/bracelet, and the hammering and weaving was very good for my soul!!

I'm going to change the structure of The Crafters Nest.  There will be a list of classes available, and you'll be able to book in to do these classes whenever suits you (subject to availability).  There will be things like the ever-popular organza flowers, beeswax collage (of course!!), mixed media canvas, resin jewellery, printmaking techniques, weaving....and on it goes!!  If you're interested in any of these classes, please email me to let me know and we can get going!!

Morning Everybody!!

I'm back!!  After weeks of making and designing, I'm back with a fabulous new collection of stuff which will be available at the BrisStyle Twilight Markets this Friday, 30th April in King George Square - can't wait!!  Here are a couple of pics to whet your appetite!!  <3

First Post!!

My first ever typepad post!!  I've decided to give it a go, and see if I can integrate all the virtual bits and pieces I seem to be accumulating into one concrete place.  So come along for the ride with me, and here's a bit of an update...  I'm a lover of all things craft.  I've always made 'stuff' and like nothing better than being in my craft space creating.  Last year I became a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, and love, love, love the products - I didn't ever do much stamping, but now I'm close to obsessed.  Craft is limited only by your imagination, and if your imagination needs a bit of a jolt, I'll be here to help.  If you'd like more individual attention, and you live in Brisbane, we can talk about the regular card/craft making classes that I hold.  I'm hoping to start some online classes soon.
