Craft Cafe at The Crafters Nest
Come and enjoy some "crafty you" time!!
The Craft Classes at The Crafters Nest take the form of a Craft Cafe, where you can come at the designated times, and choose from a 'Menu' of projects to make on any given day.
You will have the full support of the teacher Tracey Donohoe, and the friendship of the group, as well as as much tea and coffee as you can drink!!
$25 per person, kit included.
Craft Cafe Times
Monday - 7pm - 9pm
Wednesday - 12.30 - 2.30
Thursday - 7pm - 9pm
Friday - 10am - 12 noon
Saturday - 12 noon - 2pm
Craft Cafe Menu
Resin ring and pendant – a lovely introduction to the use of resin in jewellery making. Learn the basic methods and techniques required to use this very versatile medium.
Fold-out Flower Card – a delightful exploration of construction and folding techniques which results in a card within a card!
Set of 3 Flower greeting cards – for those who are looking for a bit of an escape and sense of achievement without a lot of effort! These greeting cards come in kit form and all you have to do is assemble as you chat!
Organza flowers - you will be amazed at how easy these versatile and popular, not to mention absolutely gorgeous flowers are to make. A delightful process and result!
Coffee Cozy - an introduction to knitting. Learn how to cast on, cast off, knit, purl and change colours and create your very own coffee cozy to keep that cup of coffee nice and warm.
Embroidered Coaster – avoid those condensation marks on your furniture with this gorgeous coaster, handmade by you. An introduction to embroidery which you'll never forget!!
Crochet Heart Keyring – what can we say? Except too cute!!! Learn blanket stitch and crochet and keep those keys safe forevermore.
Paper Note card Tote – pretty self-explanatory...learn basic construction and cardmaking techniques while you make this beautiful gift, or decoration for your desk at home or work.
Hand-stitched pincushion – you won't be able to stop at just one of these beautiful and simple little treasures! Learn basic hand-sewing and embroidery stitches and keep those pins off the floor!!
Granny Square Potholder – learn to crochet just like Granny used to! Learn how to make the traditional granny square and turn it into a functional and funky potholder!

- If you love the sound of the cafe, but can’t make it at the scheduled times, you have the option of getting a group of 4 or more friends together and arranging a time that suits you and I’ll run the class then.
- Private 1 hour classes are available at $25 per hour, just contact me for more info!
- All cafe kits include a technique card which you will gradually build up into a resource book to refer to at any time.

Hi
I was walking your craft shop and had a look in the window. It looks very creative and interesting. I have just framed a cross-stitch which I enjoy doing and can hang on my wall at home.
Just interested in some other craft ideas you have.
